CoderPad seeks a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack to join their team on a remote basis for candidates residing in Latin America. In this position, you will help build technical interviewing and assessment platforms by working across backend services, frontend product surfaces, and AI-powered system design.
This role is designed for an experienced professional who can build user-facing features, maintain production infrastructure, and use coding agents and AI-assisted tools during daily execution. You will shape both candidate and recruiter experiences while collaborating closely with product, design, and platform teams.

Responsibilities
- Design and ship fullstack product features spanning APIs, data models, and frontend implementation for both candidates and recruiters
- Enhance real-time AI capabilities used in interviews and assessments, focusing on streaming user experiences, model orchestration, and reliability
- Integrate multiple Large Language Model providers while managing latency, cost, and observability constraints
- Create and refine deterministic internal tooling to help engineers and agents execute tasks safely and audibly
- Collaborate with product, design, and platform teams to drive ambiguous problems from definition to production
- Review code to maintain high quality standards and mentor less-experienced peers
- Plan and execute initiatives targeting technical debt reduction, system architecture, and observability
- Participate in on-call duties, incident follow-up, and runbook improvements
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in end-to-end production software delivery within a fullstack capacity
- Strong backend engineering background in at least one modern language and ecosystem
- Practical frontend experience utilizing a component-based framework
- Ability to quickly adopt unfamiliar technology stacks and deliver in mixed-technology environments
- Hands-on background with agentic development workflows such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex
- Experience building production systems powered by AI, including prompt design, streaming responses, and tool calling
- Extensive contribution to code reviews and peer mentorship
- Track record of reducing technical debt and contributing to architecture planning
- Demonstrated ownership of production health through monitoring, alerting, and incident response
- Clear written communication skills and a collaborative mindset for remote environments
