Affirm is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack to join its Consumer Growth Experience Engineering group on a remote basis. This position focuses on creating scalable infrastructure and consumer-facing tools that support onboarding, value discovery, and engagement through personalization, experimentation, and segmentation.

You will collaborate across product, analytics, design, and platform teams to guide technical decisions, design scalable backend systems, and ship intuitive mobile and web applications.

Responsibilities
- Manage and achieve team quarterly objectives
- Guide fellow engineers through ambiguous and open-ended technical challenges
- Partner with product, design, and analytics teams throughout the development cycle
- Identify and resolve technical, operational, and business roadblocks
- Maintain application availability through operational metrics, escalation handling, and on-call duties
- Establish and promote team code review and system design standards
- Mentor team members through direct feedback and personal example
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience
- Background leading mobile initiatives such as architecture definition and cross-functional rollouts using React Native or native frameworks
- Experience handling native mobile boundaries including Swift and Kotlin, along with debugging platform-specific issues and enhancing CI/CD pipelines
- Experience deploying experimentation, analytics tracking, and feature flagging within mobile applications
- Experience building web applications with declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience designing and launching large-scale backend systems using Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes
- Ability to author technical execution plans for complex features and write clear, maintainable code
