Affirm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its International Accelerator Engineering group on a remote basis. The company provides predictable payment solutions without hidden fees, helping more than 20 million people access transparent financial products. Within this team, you will focus on building and scaling Direct-to-Consumer offerings such as the Affirm App for markets in the UK, Canada, and beyond. Operating in a fast-paced agile environment, you will ship production code regularly and measure its impact across various geographic regions.

Responsibilities
- Own and deliver quarterly team goals while guiding engineers through ambiguous, open-ended challenges

- Maintain operational availability and monitor artifacts through metrics, escalations, and on-call duties
- Establish code review and design standards to cultivate a strong engineering culture

Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 4 years of software engineering experience
- Demonstrate backend scale development expertise using Kotlin, Python, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes
