The company is currently hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Platform to work on a fully remote basis.
In this position, you will act as a hands-on contributor responsible for creating, launching, and managing production services that support foundational workflows for institutional clients. You will join the Platform team to develop the base infrastructure layer that powers artificial intelligence initiatives across both internal automation and client-facing features. This group handles AI gateway and infrastructure, security and governance, data access and retrieval, and agent frameworks.
Ideal candidates possess extensive backend software engineering expertise, cloud-native technology skills, and familiarity with artificial intelligence development tools and LLM-powered systems. You will collaborate closely with product management, quality assurance, design, and staff engineers to design reliable systems, minimize technical debt, and ensure operational health. The role suits professionals comfortable operating within fast-changing technical environments who can drive complex projects independently from conception to deployment.
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and launch production-grade services, APIs, and foundational platform capabilities
- Manage projects through all phases including technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing iteration
- Monitor production health, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure system reliability
- Construct reusable frameworks, developer tools, and infrastructure to accelerate engineering velocity
- Evaluate technical trade-offs during design reviews and help reduce technical debt and reliability risks
- Utilize agentic coding tools and AI-assisted development workflows while critically evaluating generated code
- Integrate artificial intelligence and large language model capabilities such as RAG pipelines and agentic workflows
- Collaborate with product, design, and quality assurance partners to align solutions with business objectives
Requirements
- At least seven years of experience in backend or full-stack software development
- Demonstrated backend engineering proficiency using Python alongside frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, Pyramid, or Django
- Practical background with NoSQL and relational databases including data modeling, schema design, and query optimization
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code and cloud-native technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS
- Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery, observability, and managing production services
- Hands-on practice with AI-native development tools and building or integrating AI and LLM-powered systems in production
- Ability to work full-stack with TypeScript or React when necessary
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical work experience
- Professional background within fintech or financial services
- Prior exposure to API gateway and infrastructure, security and governance tools, retrieval and data-access systems, or production-scale agent frameworks
