Canonical, the publisher of the Ubuntu platform, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join its Kubernetes product team. This remote position is open to candidates located in the Americas and EMEA. Canonical provides open source software and operating systems utilized in public cloud, AI, data science, IoT, and enterprise technology sectors. As part of the Kubernetes team, the engineer will develop operators for complete lifecycle management and addons to integrate projects into Kubernetes seamlessly. The role involves working with cutting-edge Kubernetes features, open-source technologies, and industry peers to deliver customer solutions. This opportunity suits professionals who possess expertise in Golang, Python, Linux, and Kubernetes, and who thrive in a globally distributed, remote work setting. Team members participate in global travel two to four times annually for internal and external events.
Responsibilities
- Share joint responsibility for team, department, and company outcomes with fellow leads
