Responsibilities
- Design and execute backend services for stablecoin payments such as withdrawals, deposits, and ramp integrations
- Partner with external providers for wallets, virtual account setups, and stablecoin orchestration
- Construct business onboarding workflows and compliance checks like KYB to pass banking audits
- Link new stablecoin offerings to the existing ledger, payments, and banking architecture
- Manage projects through every stage from initial design to production launch and maintenance
- Collaborate directly with product, design, compliance, and business development groups
- Contribute to defining the technical roadmap and guiding team direction
- Guide and mentor incoming engineering team members
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of professional backend software engineering experience
- Background in building and maintaining production-level services within banking, payments, or fintech
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks including AML, KYC, KYB, or audit requirements
- Demonstrated system design capabilities focused on safety, reliability, and precision in money movement
- Proficiency in modern backend programming languages
- Ability to independently drive problems to resolution inside a compact, agile team
- Clear communication skills when working alongside both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- Practical background in crypto concepts like wallets, custody, stablecoins, and on-chain transactions
- Familiarity with stablecoin orchestration, virtual accounts, or on and off ramps
- Background in smart contract auditing or development
- Prior employment history at a high-growth startup environment
