Fivetran seeks a Senior Solutions Architect, Enterprise to join the field engineering team in a remote position based from Texas. In this role, you will act as a key technical advisor for major strategic accounts, guiding customers through the adoption, evaluation, and scaling of the dbt platform. You will collaborate closely with the sales organization to link technical requirements with business goals and measurable success metrics. The work spans the entire customer journey, starting from initial discovery and evaluations to driving long-term platform adoption and channel feedback back to internal product teams.

Responsibilities
- Conduct technical discovery sessions with enterprise clients to align requirements with business outcomes.
- Formulate scalable data analytics and transformation architectures using dbt.
- Work alongside Sales to convey the technical and commercial value of the dbt ecosystem.
- Drive client evaluations, technical proofs-of-value, and trials.
- Establish dependable connections with technical practitioners, data leaders, and executive stakeholders.
- Advise users on deployment options, data security, architecture, and governance.
- Assist clients across the engagement lifecycle to ensure adoption and spot expansion paths.
- Relay user feedback and field observations to the Product and Engineering divisions.
- Forge alliances with consulting and technology partners like Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS.
- Share technical expertise and standard methodologies with the wider Field Engineering group and dbt user base.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in solutions architecture, sales engineering, consulting, or comparable customer-facing technical functions within business intelligence, data, or analytics.
- Robust technical grounding in SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data transformation.
- Thorough familiarity with contemporary cloud data warehouse, lakehouse, and analytics frameworks.
- Competency in translating technical and business demands into concrete solutions with measurable results.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities for various audience types.
- Skill in building credibility and trusted ties with both data operators and senior leadership.
- Capacity to navigate a fast-moving, evolving setting while cooperating across cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Background using dbt or analytics engineering.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar services.
- Proficiency in data modeling techniques like 3NF, Kimball, dimensional modeling, or Data Vault.
- Exposure to enterprise data integration tools or ETL platforms such as Talend, Boomi, or Informatica.
- History of handling complex enterprise migrations, transformations, or technical evaluations.
