Elastic is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect for a full-time, on-site role in the United Kingdom. The architect acts as the technical expert and confidant for the sales team, clients, partners and community, focused on how the Elastic Stack can address customers' business challenges.
The architect serves as the technical lead for some of Elastic's clients, learns their objectives, and explains how Elastic offerings meet them. Relationships are developed at every level of customer organizations, and the architect joins planning from discovery through to the technical outcome.
The role also includes presenting Elastic products at sales meetings and at community events and conferences, advising sales on positioning, enabling partners, producing collateral, and passing client and community feedback to engineering and leadership. Self-directed learning across both sales and technical skills is expected.
Candidates need a track record in technical presales and a background in one of AI-enabled enterprise search, observability or security work, which the posting treats as essential. Security experience is a strong advantage, and work with large or mid-sized organizations is expected. Travel of 30% within a region, plus occasional international trips, is required, and business or native-level English is needed.
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical lead for some of Elastic's clients

- Present Elastic products at sales meetings, meetups and conferences
- Advise sales on positioning, and enable partners

Requirements
- Track record of success in technical presales
- Hands-on background in enterprise search with AI, observability or security work (at least one of these)
- Experience serving large and mid-sized enterprises
- Ability to make a persuasive case for modern platforms, software and technologies
- History of customer relationships and architectures that delivered results
- Ability to influence teams and inspire groups of any size
- Readiness to travel 30% inside a region and occasionally abroad
- Business or native-level fluency in English
