Wiz is seeking a remote Senior Solutions Engineer based in Melbourne to support growth and mid-enterprise clients. In this role, you will report to the Manager of Solutions Engineering and collaborate closely with regional account executives to guide clients through cloud security strategies across major cloud environments.
This position suits a technical sales professional who excels at delivering product demonstrations, managing proof of value outcomes, and acting as a trusted advisor to strategic buyers. Responsibilities involve partnering with sales representatives to hit quarterly quotas, leading technical discussions, planning evaluation tests, and representing the organization at industry events and trade shows. Travel requirements for the position extend up to forty percent.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with regional account executives to provide technical leadership and help achieve quarterly sales targets
- Deliver presentations, whiteboard sessions, slide decks, product demonstrations, and proof of value outcomes
- Assist prospective buyers in designing comprehensive test plans to demonstrate platform value within their environments
- Engage in continuous learning to master new product updates, industry trends, and technical capabilities
- Represent the organization at trade shows, technical meetups, and industry events
- Travel up to 40 percent as required by the role
Requirements
- Experience in a sales engineering role delivering solutions to C-level executives at strategic accounts
- Cloud security experience including hands-on work with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Network engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, virtual machines, and containers
- Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is based without requiring visa sponsorship
Qualifications
- Experience with traditional CSPM tools
- SaaS background
- Awareness of CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
- Ability to support partners in building a technical business delivery model
