  • Partner with Product, Security, Risk, Data Science, Design, Analytics, Infrastructure, and Compliance stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience with progression into Staff or Senior Staff-level technical leadership
  • Demonstrated history of defining and executing technical strategy for large-scale distributed systems or platform infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience designing and operating secure, highly available distributed backend systems at scale
  • Expertise in identity, trust, security, privacy, or regulated-data systems across consumer or enterprise experiences
  • Deep understanding of authentication and authorization protocols including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, RBAC, ABAC, and MFA
  • Experience architecting Trust domains such as KYC, fraud systems, PII tokenization, encryption, or file processing
  • Production experience with identity platforms like Okta, Auth0, Keycloak, or internal identity infrastructure
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C#, Go, Kotlin, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with REST APIs, SQL and NoSQL data stores, streaming platforms, Kubernetes, and event-driven architectures
