Veeam Software is seeking a Technical Account Manager based in Ankara to handle professional services engagements. Veeam operates as a Data and AI Trust Company, offering data resilience and data security posture management to over 550,000 customers globally from its Seattle headquarters and offices across more than 30 countries.
In this role, the selected professional will oversee the architecture, planning, coordination, and management of availability solutions, focusing specifically on data protection and monitoring. Duties involve a combination of work from home and face-to-face customer visits, alongside potential overnight travel as required to achieve business objectives.
The ideal candidate possesses strong consulting and project management expertise, alongside extensive knowledge in operating systems, virtualization, networking, storage, business continuity, and data management.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to proposal and Statement of Work preparation
- Support delivery implementation and consulting services to align with solution designs
- Manage project plans, schedules, resource plans, communication plans, and status updates
- Assist with solution assessments, designs, and post-installation troubleshooting
- Estimate implementation efforts for company solutions
- Produce white papers, solution guides, best practices, and custom documentation
- Conduct on-site knowledge transfer regarding solutions
- Document configuration details and completed tasks
- Analyze customer environments to recommend optimal configurations
- Facilitate communication between clients and support teams
- Identify additional client needs that can be resolved with company solutions
- Provide feedback for process and documentation improvements
- Undertake overnight travel to fulfill company goals
Requirements
- Permanent location in Türkiye
- Business proficiency in both Turkish and English
- Proven consulting and project management experience
- Hands-on familiarity with core Veeam products
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and VMware
- Background in disruptive storage systems and technologies
- Experience with networking protocols and equipment including Ethernet and Fibre Channel
- Familiarity with traditional backup and storage architectures
- Practical experience with enterprise applications like SQL, Oracle, and Exchange
- Background in data protection, analytics, and management
- Experience managing multiple accounts and simultaneous projects
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies, protocols, and capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE, or equivalent experience
- Prince 2, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent experience
