Veeam Software is currently seeking a Senior Sales Systems Engineer to operate on a remote basis. Veeam functions as a Data and AI Trust Company, focusing on data resilience and data security posture management to help businesses ensure their information and AI systems are protected and resilient.
In this role, the Systems Engineer will partner with Account Managers to promote and demonstrate product offerings to major clients, such as large commercial and enterprise organizations in both public and private sectors. The ideal candidate will provide pre-sales support, technical guidance, and coordinate efforts with internal teams and partners.
Applicants must be fluent in Turkish and English, and must be permanently located in Turkey. The position involves engaging with C-level stakeholders, conducting product demonstrations, and participating in marketing events.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to secure and expand business with new and existing enterprise and commercial accounts
- Deliver web-based and on-site product demonstrations and proof-of-concept trials
- Partner with value-added providers including cloud and hosting organizations for joint meetings, training, and relationship development
- Deliver pre-sales assistance and on-site installation support during customer evaluations
- Act as a technical advisor to ensure proper solution design, implementation, and adherence to best practices
- Contribute to and take part in marketing events such as webinars, trade shows, and conferences
Requirements
- Ability to drive business discussions with enterprise C-level stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent proficiency in both Turkish and English
- Comfort presenting to groups in remote and in-person settings
- Willingness to travel throughout Turkey and occasionally abroad
- Prior background in IT infrastructure areas including virtualization, storage, networking, and backup or disaster recovery
- Familiarity with micro-services, cloud-native application concepts, containerization, and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of hyperscalers like Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud
