Figma is hiring a Senior Technical Revenue Analyst for its Austin location. The company builds a collaborative design platform that enables teams to brainstorm, prototype, translate designs into code, and iterate with artificial intelligence.
In this full-time position, the professional will operate within a compact finance group, driving month-end close operations and managing transaction support. Responsibilities encompass examining complex sales agreements, ensuring adherence to ASC 606 revenue standards, and collaborating with legal and sales divisions during contract negotiations. The individual will report directly to the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting.
This role is well-suited for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in corporate revenue accounting or public accounting, capable of prioritizing tasks independently during fast-paced close cycles.
Responsibilities
- Execute monthly revenue accounting close deliverables and tasks accurately and on schedule
- Partner with sales and legal teams during contract negotiations to supply appropriate accounting guidance
- Examine revenue contracts to find and document non-standard terms according to company policy and ASC 606
- Create, revise, and sustain revenue recognition policies and technical accounting memos
- Build scalable revenue accounting procedures and advance automation efforts alongside engineering, finance, legal, and sales
- Participate in ad-hoc analytics, system enhancements, user acceptance testing, and special projects
Requirements
- At least 4 years of combined experience working in public accounting, corporate revenue accounting, or both
- Demonstrated background within a high-growth SaaS technology organization
- Current and thorough understanding of ASC 606 standards and contract interpretation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities with high attention to detail
- Advanced skill level in Excel
Qualifications
- Prior involvement with revenue system implementations or automation initiatives
- Familiarity with ERP platforms, specifically NetSuite
- CPA candidate status
