Masimba Holdings Limited is hiring a Site Quantity Surveyor for a position based in Harare. This full-time role focuses on managing project commercial administration, cost control, and measurement directly at the construction site. Responsibilities
- Handle commercial administration, measurement, and cost control at the project site
- Create project budgets, payment applications, valuations, forecasts, and cost reports
- Track spending, material consumption, and subcontractor expenses relative to authorized budgets
- Handle contractual documentation, claims, commercial risks, and variations
- Assist with project close-out, procurement, final accounts, and subcontractor evaluations
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or a recognized equivalent credential
- Bring at least five years of applicable construction industry experience
- Demonstrate expertise in construction contracts, valuation, measurement, cost estimation, and subcontract management
- Show proficiency in Microsoft Excel and specialized quantity surveying software such as CCS
- Exhibit commercial awareness alongside analytical, problem-solving, and reporting abilities
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on mining-related, roads, infrastructure, or civil engineering projects
- Familiarity with ZGCC4 FIDIC contracts
