KnowBe4 is currently hiring a remote Snr. Information Security Analyst for a full-time position. This role centers on safeguarding company and client information assets by actively tracking potential threats and deploying protective measures. The successful candidate will handle escalated security incidents, perform vulnerability assessments, and ensure the availability, integrity, and privacy of enterprise networks and systems. Responsibilities
- Manage escalated security events and offer support to junior SOC personnel
- Develop new security dashboards and alerts
- Construct automated triage mechanisms and validate applied security controls
- Conduct threat hunting across log feeds
- Draft security policies, playbooks, and procedures
- Investigate, monitor, and respond to security incidents
- Perform root cause analysis on identified vulnerabilities
- Execute penetration testing and security reviews for company products and services
- Perform vulnerability scanning and triage across services and products
- Track network changes and activity for potential threats
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of information security best practices and concepts
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, application security, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing
- Familiarity with OWASP top 10 and MITRE ATT&CK Framework
- Knowledge of operating systems including Windows, Mac, Linux, and ChromeOS
- Ability to navigate the linux command line
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong analytical, time management, and organization skills
- Familiarity with SaaS application concepts such as logging, access control, secure configuration, APIs, permissions, and troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Possession of security certifications such as Security+, GSEC, CompTIA CySA+, or Cisco Cyber Ops
- Experience with SIEM solutions, log observability, and AWS or Azure
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or information technology
- Experience writing information security tools and scripts
- Experience utilizing AI tools like Claude Code for data analysis and application development
- Experience with Microsoft Sentinel or Elasticsearch
- Experience in risk diagnosis, documentation, and mitigation
- Experience mentoring and guiding junior staff members
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization
