Job Description
Elastic is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect in Dubai for a full-time, on-site presales position. The architect acts as the technical reference point for the sales team, customers, partners and the wider community, helping enterprise organizations resolve business problems through the Elastic Stack.
The architect is the technical lead on assigned accounts and works alongside account managers. This means learning what a customer wants to achieve, explaining how Elastic offerings support those outcomes, and developing relationships of mutual value with people across every tier of the buyer's company. Involvement starts at discovery and continues until the technical case is won.
The architect demonstrates Elastic products at sales meetings, community meetups and conferences, coaches the sales team on how to present offerings, and brings partners on board so they can close their own deals. The role also involves creating collateral, contributing to company programs, and working with colleagues on specific client needs.
Feedback from customers and the community, including gaps and suggested enhancements, is passed to engineering and leadership. Continuous learning, in both sales and technology, is expected. The ideal candidate has presales experience in the enterprise sector, has sold and implemented technology well enough to earn customer confidence, and can make a clear case for modern platforms. Persuasiveness and the ability to energize audiences of any size matter, and travel of 30% within the region, plus occasional international trips, is required.

Requirements
- Presales track record in technical roles within the enterprise sector
- Experience selling and implementing technology in ways that build customer confidence
- Strong ability to make the case for modern platforms and software
- A record of customer work that produced architectures meeting goals or beating rivals
- Ability to win over teams and energize audiences large and small
- Curiosity and continuous learning
- Travel of 30% within the region and occasional international trips
