The engineering team develops specialized ledgers utilizing modern technologies including Java 25, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, MariaDB, and ClickHouse. Responsibilities include creating real-time data quality controls, designing reconciliation systems, integrating new product launches into existing ledgers, and maintaining system resilience as transaction volume grows.

Responsibilities
- Build specialized ledgers to monitor foreign exchange risk and liquidity in real time using stream-processing technology
- Design real-time reconciliation and data-quality controls to detect discrepancies immediately
- Integrate new company products into the ledger to maintain complete visibility across multiple currencies
- Scale event processing infrastructure to ensure speed, resilience, and observability
- Own features end-to-end from product events to ledger streams in cooperation with senior engineering staff
- Participate in architecture design discussions and code reviews
- Handle incident resolution and engage in post-incident reviews, including on-call support duties
Requirements
- Solid software engineering fundamentals and professional backend development experience
- Experience with Java or an equivalent object-oriented programming language
- Good understanding of databases and SQL
- Strong attention to data correctness and edge cases
- Ability to write well-tested and maintainable code
