Job Description
Safe Security is a Series C-funded cyber risk leader specializing in an artificial intelligence-driven platform that delivers real-time security posture visibility for global enterprises. The organization is looking for a Solution Architect or Senior Solution Architect for North America to act as the technical lead on Continuous Threat Exposure Management agreements. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Global Pre-Sales.
In this capacity, you will guide deals from initial discovery to successful proof of value. You will bridge the gap between customer engineering personnel and chief information security officers by demonstrating how the platform identifies and prioritizes critical exposures. Your initial focus will center on Continuous Threat Exposure Management, with plans to expand into third-party risk management and cyber risk quantification during your first year.
This opportunity is well-suited for professionals with deep technical fluency in vulnerability management who possess a high-intensity, ownership-driven work ethic. Safe Security operates in a fast-paced environment that relies on direct feedback, structured frameworks, and data-driven methods.
Responsibilities
- Conduct technical discovery to map customer vulnerability scanners, asset inventories, ticketing systems, and remediation workflows
- Deliver tailored software demonstrations focused on solving specific buyer problems rather than generic feature tours
- Manage proofs of value by writing success criteria, connecting customer tools, and hitting measurable deadlines
- Defend technical arguments against legacy vulnerability management and alternative exposure platforms using customer data
- Communicate exploitability and remediation steps effectively to engineers while explaining exposure in financial terms to leadership
- Maintain accurate deal stages, blockers, and next steps inside the customer relationship management and presales systems
- Relay customer feedback, winning strategies, and product gaps back to the product team
- Build reusable resources including demonstration environments, proof of value playbooks, and competitive notes
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in vulnerability management or exposure management as a practitioner or presales engineer
- Working knowledge of security stacks including scanners, cloud and application security findings, endpoint detection and response, configuration management databases, and IT service management tools
- Fluency in vulnerability prioritization metrics and methods such as CVSS, EPSS, CISA KEV, asset criticality, and compensating controls
- Understanding of the five Continuous Threat Exposure Management phases encompassing scoping, discovery, prioritization, validation, and mobilization
- Comfort working with application programming interfaces, messy data, API documentation, and raw data exports
- Clear communication abilities suited for both technical engineers and executive audiences
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools used on a daily basis
Qualifications
- Experience executing proofs of value or proofs of concept with enterprise clients
- Exposure to cyber risk quantification, FAIR framework, or third-party risk methodologies
- Scripting proficiency in Python or Structured Query Language
- Background in penetration testing, red teaming, threat intelligence, or incident response
- Prior experience presenting directly to Chief Information Security Officers or executive audiences
