Job Description

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery when a standard demo falls short, and document what the product handles out of the box, what needs a stopgap, and what falls outside the work.
• Build fast proofs of concept in a sandbox, only after the scope is agreed in writing.
• Create agents and automations with n8n or Make now, and with Apaleo's platform once it launches.
• Work beside customers on temporary solutions, each with a set exit plan.
• Run post-sale checks and scope integrations for customers who expand.
• Convert every project into a reusable reference architecture, pattern or template.
• Trial new technology on real problems and record each experiment as adopt, hand over or drop.

Requirements

• A solid track record in technical pre-sales or consulting roles for software-as-a-service companies.
• Solid API skills: REST, authentication, webhooks, event handling and data-flow planning.
• Workflow automation experience (n8n favored) and hands-on LLM agent building.
• Experience managing stakeholders among executives and IT staff.
• Fluent English and French.
• Able to travel often, with regular trips to France and the UK.
• Self-starter who declines work that does not move a deal forward.
• Organized, written documentation habits.

Qualifications

• Hotel or travel background with property management system knowledge: bookings, guest charges, rate plans and end-of-day audits.
• Exposure to a second cloud PMS, a channel manager, or payment connectors.
• Enterprise architecture on large, multi-site programs.
• Applied AI or machine learning background, or work with MCP and agent platforms.
• Working knowledge of SQL and BI tools.
