Job Description
Glean is hiring a remote Solutions Engineer based in Canada to support enterprise clients in connecting business requirements to practical technical outcomes using the Work AI platform. This position involves partnering directly with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to guide enterprise organizations through technical evaluations, discovery sessions, security discussions, and tailored demonstrations.
The person in this role will collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams, translating customer needs into feedback while designing customized environments based on specific industry use cases. Ideal candidates bring a consultative mindset to solving complex challenges and possess a strong technical background in cloud environments and programming languages.
Glean operates as a Work AI ecosystem offering enterprise search, AI assistants, and scalable agents built on a secure open platform with over 100 SaaS connectors. Recognized by various industry publications, the company aims to make organizations AI-fluent across global markets.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Account Executives during complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deal cycles
- Conduct technical discovery to identify customer workflows, business objectives, and success metrics
- Build and present customized customer environments reflecting specific industries and use cases
- Design and oversee technical proofs of concept, defining scope and aligning on next steps
- Address technical and security questions during customer-facing meetings to foster trust
- Communicate customer feedback and feature requests to the engineering and product teams
- Draft return on investment reports, business cases, and presentations linking technical capabilities to business results
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in solutions consulting, solutions engineering, or sales engineering within a SaaS organization
- Demonstrated history of collaborating with account executives on technical sales engagements with enterprise clients
- Consultative approach to addressing technical and security inquiries while resolving business hurdles
- Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform including AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Proficiency in Java or Python programming languages
- Capability to set up, oversee, and maintain API-based integrations
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Self-motivated and adaptable work style suited for a collaborative and fast-moving team setting
- Must be located in Canada for this remote position
