DigiCert seeks a Solutions Engineer to join its global team and help secure digital interactions through intelligent trust solutions. The employer provides an AI-powered platform uniting certificate lifecycle management, DNS, and PKI to safeguard software, infrastructure, devices, and AI content for organizations worldwide. This position involves combining technical acumen with sales expertise to identify and close new business within designated customer accounts. The chosen professional will act as a trusted advisor, leading product demonstrations, running proof-of-concept tests, and guiding clients through customized technical architectures. Up to twenty-five percent travel is expected for this position.
Responsibilities
- Conduct technical discovery sessions to analyze client needs, infrastructure, and challenges
- Lead product demonstrations and illustrate how specific solutions address client requirements
- Translate complex client specifications into actionable configurations and architecture plans
- Build integration guides, technical proposals, and architecture diagrams for customer engagements
- Contribute to responses for requests for proposal and tender documentation
- Partner with sales and customer success teams to align technical capabilities with business goals
- Share product feedback and feature requests with internal engineering and product teams
Requirements
- Hold four or more years of experience as a solutions engineer, technical salesperson, product manager, engineer, IT support agent, or enterprise software administrator
- Possess foundational knowledge in information technology or information security systems
- Demonstrate familiarity with public key infrastructure, digital certificates, and cryptographic principles
- Understand cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud alongside Kubernetes
- Bring familiarity with REST APIs, GitHub, and ServiceNow
- Possess hands-on scripting capabilities in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Have exposure to infrastructure automation and DevOps tools like Terraform and Ansible
Qualifications
- Earned a degree in computer science, computer information systems, cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline
- Hold cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, or CCSP
- Bring hands-on practice with cryptographic tools and certificate management
- Demonstrate familiarity with secure key storage, load balancers, and code signing
- Understand single sign-on authentication protocols including SAML, OpenID, and SSO
