6sense is hiring a remote Sr. Data Scientist, Forward-Deployed to join its Forward Engineering predictive track team. The company offers an AI platform that captures signals to help B2B organizations identify buyer readiness and engagement strategies.
This position measures how engagement activities affect customer pipeline growth and renewals, builds value analyses for leadership and clients, and involves hands-on collaboration with senior team members on customer modeling. Responsibilities
- Establish initial performance baselines for customer engagements before work begins
- Track account health, renewal results, and the effectiveness of predictive scores for sales teams
- Compare the performance of scored accounts against unscored ones regarding close rates, sales cycle duration, and deal sizes
- Evaluate how model and configuration adjustments influence model performance and qualified pipeline volume
- Perform before-and-after and holdout analyses to isolate true effects from data noise
- Collaborate on live client engagements by validating account lists, matching CRM records with firmographic data, and tuning models
- Develop scalable value analysis workflows for on-demand customer reporting
- Design dashboards and reports utilized by the team, Customer Success, and leadership
Requirements
- Five or more years of professional experience in data science or advanced analytics
- Demonstrated background in building predictive models and measuring business impact
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Experience cleaning and matching messy data records across systems using IDs
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts and experiment design, including baselines and control groups
- Experience creating dashboards or reports for business stakeholders
Qualifications
- Experience handling B2B go-to-market or SaaS customer data such as CRM metrics, pipeline, and renewals
- Background in a customer-facing, consulting, or client analytics role
- Familiarity with business intelligence software such as Tableau
- Experience using data platforms like SingleStore, Snowflake, or Hive
