This on-site role involves taking end-to-end ownership of data products within the advertising ecosystem, shaping strategy through analysis, and collaborating across various functions.
This position suits an experienced data professional who can independently handle strategic analysis, opportunity sizing, segmentation modeling, and experimental design. Responsibilities include conducting deep strategic evaluations on metric changes and programmatic ad load, building segmentation models to influence pricing strategies, creating and tracking success metrics, and mentoring other data scientists. The base salary range spans from $164,428 to $287,749 USD, and the position is also eligible for equity. Responsibilities
- Conduct strategic analyses to assess metric changes and evaluate overall impacts within the ads ecosystem
- Perform opportunity sizing and analyze programmatic ad load adjustments
- Develop segmentation models to evaluate supply and guide pricing strategy
- Design measurement strategies, advise on experimentation best practices, and build analysis tools
- Identify and track success metrics for engineering teams by segmenting high-level measures
- Lead and mentor the scope of work for peer data scientists while delivering constructive feedback
Requirements
- 5 or more years of combined post-graduate academic and industry experience applying scientific methods to web-scale data
- Strong fundamentals in statistics and experimentation
- Domain knowledge in ecosystem, ads, or real-time bidding
- Proficiency in SQL, Hive, and Python
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science or a relevant field, or equivalent experience
