Chime Financial, Inc. seeks a remote Sr. Instructional Designer, Learning Operations to join its Operations and Member Experience Learning & Development team. Operating as a financial technology company rather than a bank, the organization provides user-friendly digital tools to help millions of members manage their finances. In this position, the instructional designer will craft learning strategies and multi-modality training content for contact center agents across business partner organizations, acting as a consultant for the Disputes Experience department.

This role is well-suited for analytical and creative problem solvers who possess a strong interest in customer service and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The professional taking on this position will manage the complete lifecycle of educational programs, utilizing data analytics to measure training effectiveness and enhance agent performance. Daily responsibilities involve collaborating alongside subject matter experts and stakeholders to build engaging materials ranging from self-paced modules to instructor-led sessions, while incorporating artificial intelligence tools to accelerate development outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a learning consultant for the Disputes Experience business line to establish training strategies that support operational goals
  • Partner with teammates, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to pinpoint educational needs and targets
  • Assess program efficacy using data analytics to find ways to improve agent skills and output
  • Develop engaging, multi-modality course content incorporating adult learning principles and design methodologies
  • Manage end-to-end creation of learning materials, assets, and assessments
  • Incorporate current trends and artificial intelligence applications into the workflow to maintain high learning quality

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of background in creating multi-modality learning solutions such as eLearning, video, and instructor-led courses
  • Expertise in adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies across various formats
  • Experience analyzing source material to build design documents for developers
  • Practical use of AI tools in daily workflows to scale learning outputs
  • Familiarity with agile and waterfall development methodologies
  • Data analysis proficiency for designing evaluation strategies aligned with business targets
  • Hands-on creation of blended learning programs using at least two authoring applications like Articulate 360, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, or Canva
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally around 10 percent of the time
