Key duties involve managing corporate and financial narratives, supporting earnings reports, handling M&A announcements, and protecting the corporate reputation during critical moments. Candidates will act as trusted thought partners to leaders in finance, legal, and investor relations while translating complicated business initiatives into accessible stories. The ideal professional brings strong media instincts and uses artificial intelligence tools to optimize research, monitoring, and briefing workflows while maintaining accountability for final outputs. The position involves guiding cross-functional stakeholders on communication timing and risks, as well as managing crisis communication scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute corporate and financial communication strategies for business-critical events
  • Partner with legal, finance, and investor relations teams to shape messaging on company performance and strategic milestones
  • Draft press releases, talking points, Q&As, messaging frameworks, and executive materials
  • Build relationships with business, financial, and trade media to proactively shape market understanding
  • Advise senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders on communication risks, timing, and opportunities
  • Manage crisis communications and issues management for corporate and financial topics
  • Translate complex business and financial developments into clear external stories
  • Utilize artificial intelligence tools to support research, monitoring, briefing development, and execution

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a related field
  • Demonstrated media instincts and a history of building relationships with trade, financial, and business press
  • Proven writing and editing abilities for producing polished materials for external audiences and executives
  • Experience applying artificial intelligence tools to enhance the speed and quality of communication tasks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Prior in-house experience at a publicly traded global technology or platform company
  • Experience managing communications across several business lines at once
  • Background in advertising, monetization, or B2B platform storytelling
  • Familiarity with regulatory, policy, or trust and safety communications
