Pinterest operates an online platform where millions of users discover creative ideas, plan projects, and seek visual inspiration. The company is currently hiring a Sr. Manager, Strategic Sourcing to lead its General & Administrative sourcing operations.
In this position, the selected professional will oversee a third-party spend portfolio of approximately $150 million annually. Key duties involve collaborating with corporate departments such as Finance, Legal, Trust & Safety, People, IT, and Workplace to design supplier strategies that balance commercial value, risk management, and operational execution. The individual will also coach and develop a team of sourcing professionals while reporting directly to the Global Head of Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Intelligence.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced procurement leader with a strong background in managing indirect or corporate services portfolios, negotiating complex agreements, and integrating artificial intelligence tools into analytical workflows. Candidates must be comfortable working on-site as required by departmental collaboration policies, visiting the office once or twice every six months.

Responsibilities
- Manage category strategy and multi-year sourcing plans for General & Administrative spend
- Direct complex sourcing engagements from requirement gathering through supplier selection, negotiation, and performance management
- Negotiate commercial agreements covering pricing, service levels, risk allocation, and governance
- Analyze spend data, market intelligence, and total cost of ownership to form strategic recommendations
- Partner with leaders across Finance, Legal, Trust & Safety, People, IT, and Workplace
- Coach, mentor, and direct a high-performing sourcing team
- Upgrade sourcing workflows, governance, and data practices for better scalability
- Leverage artificial intelligence to enhance analysis and research while ensuring data security and accuracy
Requirements
- At least 10 years of professional background in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, or commercial strategy
- Minimum of 4 years of experience leading, coaching, and managing the performance of direct reports
- Background in managing strategic sourcing for indirect, G&A, corporate services, professional services, or technology spend
- Demonstrated skill in negotiating complex supplier contracts and balancing commercial value with risk
- History of partnering with cross-functional senior stakeholders to align business and financial objectives
- Proficiency in utilizing spend data, market intelligence, and financial analysis for decision-making
- Experience applying artificial intelligence tools to analytical workflows while protecting sensitive data
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or an equivalent field
- Background in a technology, platform, SaaS, high-growth, or complex global enterprise setting
- Expertise in General & Administrative categories such as professional services, contingent workforce, HR, facilities, or travel
- Familiarity with source-to-pay, contract lifecycle management, and spend analytics software
- Experience driving procurement transformation, operating model design, or supplier governance programs
- Advanced degree or professional credential such as an MBA, JD, CPSM, or CIPS
