Pinterest's Ads Quality team is hiring a Senior Product Manager to match the right ad to the right Pinner at the right time. The role owns requirements and the roadmap for ads delivery capabilities, coordinating changes to retrieval, ranking, pacing, bidding and measurement systems with engineering, ML and design partners. It is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and requires at least four years of product management or a related role.
Responsibilities
- Own the vision for ad-matching capabilities and write business and product requirements documents
- Build and maintain a prioritized roadmap and requirements backlog, tracked from discovery to launch
- Coordinate changes to back-end ads delivery systems such as ranking, pacing, bidding and measurement
- Define success metrics and acceptance criteria, then use post-launch results to update the roadmap
Requirements
- At least four years as a product manager, engineering manager, data scientist or in a related role
- Ability to review and define technical and business requirements
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, data teams and product marketing
- Understanding of ads marketplace trade-offs and how new content formats affect the page
Qualifications
- Passion for delighting Pinners and strong intuition about what matters to their experience
