The role drives research, architecture and production deployment of generative recommendation and reinforcement learning solutions that apply across Ads, Discovery, Growth and Search. Responsibilities
- Drive research, architecture and production deployment of generative recommendation and reinforcement learning systems
- Build novel ML solutions from zero to one at scale and secure the resources they need
- Own the long-term research strategy for Applied Science and act as a technical leader in applied AI
- Partner with Product, Engineering and Data Science to turn complex solutions into product impact
Requirements
- MS or PhD in computer science, or equivalent industry experience
- At least six years of relevant industry experience
- Hands-on experience with large-scale recommendation systems and reinforcement learning
- Experience turning ambiguous research problems into production deliverables
Qualifications
- Experience with LLM or VLM post-training
- Publications at top ML conferences such as KDD, NeurIPS or RecSys
