In this full-time role based in San Francisco, the engineer will design, build, and scale features for desktop and mobile web experiences used by millions.
This position suits a versatile web developer who enjoys end-to-end product ownership, working across functions with designers, product managers, and backend engineers. Candidates will utilize artificial intelligence tools for tasks such as rapid prototyping, documentation, and information synthesis while maintaining personal accountability for final deliverables. The work model requires occasional onsite collaboration one to two times per quarter, permitting applicants to reside anywhere within the United States.

Responsibilities
- Design, create, and launch user-facing features for mobile and desktop web platforms
- Own products through every phase, including prototyping, A/B testing, architecture, development, and scaling
- Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and designers on end-to-end functionality
- Propose new features and ideas to advocate for users and guide product direction
- Write reliable, maintainable code using automated testing and strong engineering practices
- Mentor team members, lead code reviews, and guide technical decisions
- Incorporate AI thoughtfully into workflows for prototyping, synthesis, and documentation while validating outputs
Requirements
- 5 or more years of industry experience in web application development creating consumer or business products
- Comprehensive knowledge of web development principles and best practices in React and Redux
- Ability to write reliable, maintainable code suitable for use by large engineering teams
- Capacity to stay updated on emerging technologies to determine appropriate adoption
- Demonstrated skill in leveraging AI to enhance daily workflow speed and quality
- Strong track record of critically evaluating and verifying AI-assisted work through testing, validation, and peer review
- High accountability and data protection integrity when utilizing AI tools
