This position fits professionals who want to act as a definitive technical authority while building executive-level relationships. You will manage multi-workload architectures, real-time systems, and large-scale machine learning environments. The role involves mentoring junior staff members, designing competitive account strategies, and coordinating internal cross-functional groups to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage technical and consumption strategies for complex customer accounts to accelerate platform adoption and revenue growth
- Establish senior-level technical relationships as a trusted advisor on enterprise data and artificial intelligence strategy
- Direct complex architectural engagements including multi-workload platforms, large migrations, streaming systems, and scalable machine learning
- Develop and execute strategies to position the company against incumbent and emerging competitors
- Coordinate cross-functional units such as product, partners, and specialized solutions architects to deploy robust solutions
- Coach and mentor junior solutions architects regarding technical depth and engagement practices
- Contribute thought leadership through workshops, customer-facing content, and community outreach
Requirements
- Minimum of eight years of experience in solutions architecture, principal engineering, pre-sales leadership, or customer-facing technical roles
- Expert coding proficiency in Python and SQL, alongside familiarity with Spark or PySpark
- Extensive background in enterprise data architecture, distributed systems, streaming frameworks, lakehouse design, and cloud-native platforms
- Demonstrated history of driving consumption growth and platform adoption within large accounts
- Executive presence with the capability to influence directors, vice presidents, and C-level stakeholders
- Experience leading competitive displacements and complex enterprise evaluations
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline
- Databricks platform certifications
- Previous employment history at Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Google, Microsoft, or similar data and artificial intelligence enterprises
- Published thought leadership content including blogs, conference presentations, or open-source contributions
- Industry vertical expertise backed by executive-level domain credibility
