Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, such as performing bank reconciliations
- Generate journal entries accompanied by proper supporting documentation
- Identify and resolve financial irregularities and discrepancies
- Participate in the month-end close process, including profit and loss and balance sheet reconciliations
- Meet scheduled deadlines for management review and financial reporting
- Provide requested files and documentation to external auditors
- Maintain adherence to internal controls, company policies, and GAAP standards
Requirements
- Advanced Microsoft Excel abilities, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Independent working style capable of delivering accurate outcomes
- Ability to prioritize competing obligations and maintain communication regarding deadlines
- Capability to communicate persuasively with senior management and internal colleagues
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting
- Two to three years of relevant professional accounting experience
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning software, specifically Sage Intacct
