Responsibilities
- Review business requirements from end users, negotiate prices and lead times, and recommend suppliers.
- Analyze and manage contracts to optimize terms and ensure compliance.
- Evaluate, select and establish relationships with local and foreign vendors.
- Prepare spend reports and monthly operations reports for the procurement manager.
Requirements
- At least five years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in contracts and procurement.
- Proficiency in Oracle or a similar ERP system, with advanced data analysis skills.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Understanding of importation processes, customs regulations and legal requirements.
- Fluent English in writing and speech. Occasional travel may be required.
