Responsibilities
- Apply software updates to customer production and non-production systems

- Communicate professionally and solution-forward with clients

Requirements
- Manage and upgrade Oracle Database 19c, covering single instance and container databases
- Install and maintain software on Red Hat Linux or Oracle Linux
- Communicate directly with customers through email and video conferencing
- Reside within the UK to satisfy customer security mandates
- Demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel in the UK with documentation
- Pass satisfactory vetting, reference checks, and potentially a Disclosure Barring Service check
Qualifications
- Deploy Apache Tomcat web applications
- Configure and manage Apache Web Server
- Install and maintain software on Microsoft Windows Server operating systems
- Write Linux bash scripts
- Execute Ansible scripted database and software backups and recovery
- Understand network architecture such as DMZs and private networks
