Wise is hiring a full-time Technical Program Manager to operate on-site in Hyderabad within its newly created Implementation Management team. This role sits inside the Servicing organization and coordinates directly with external product segments, steering cross-functional execution across compliance, engineering, operations, and product teams.
The position suits professionals who can independently direct high-visibility, cross-domain initiatives such as regional product launches, control rollouts, platform migrations, and partner integrations. The professional in this role will guide partner teams through onboarding criteria, translate compliance and business needs into user stories for implementation engineers, and consult on platform integration flows and limitations.
Day-to-day execution involves a mix of operational transformation and technical delivery. The person hired will design operational workflows, queue structures, and agent guidance alongside business operations, while owning the end-to-end program governance lifecycle from scoping and brief writing to tracking milestones and conducting post-implementation reviews. Candidates should possess a strong interest in documenting workflows, automating manual tasks, and establishing telemetry.
Responsibilities
- Lead single-threaded, cross-squad projects including core platform migrations, control rollouts, partner integrations, and product launches
- Consult partner teams on platform integration capabilities, flows, and limitations while guiding onboarding requirements
- Translate business and compliance needs into clear user stories for implementation engineers
- Read architecture diagrams, ask technical questions, run API requests in Postman, and build Looker dashboards or tables to track metrics
- Collaborate with Business Operations to support product launches with operational workflows, queue structures, and agent guidance
- Manage end-to-end program governance by authoring program briefs, establishing SMART objectives, tracking milestones, and maintaining risk logs
- Document workflows, automate manual tasks, and build telemetry to scale future execution
Requirements
- Bring at least five years of relevant experience delivering cross-functional technical or operational projects as a Technical Program Manager, implementation manager, technical consultant, product manager, or fintech delivery lead
- Demonstrate systems literacy with the ability to interpret architecture diagrams, test via Postman calls, and build basic tables or dashboards in Looker or SQL
- Apply project and program delivery best practices covering scoping, brief writing, stakeholder reporting, and post-implementation audits
- Exhibit written and verbal communication skills tailored for product managers, engineers, and business leaders
- Use structured thinking and pattern recognition to design standardized, repeatable frameworks from unstructured information
