The person in this role will keep schedules, dependencies, and engineering owners aligned while utilizing generative AI tools as a standard operating model for execution, drafting program artifacts, streamlining workflows, and surfacing risks. Candidates must comply with safety-by-design guidelines, handle sensitive data properly, and validate outputs from AI systems.

The role operates under a specific setup requiring in-office attendance for collaborative purposes one to two times every six months, permitting candidates to be situated anywhere in the nation. Base compensation ranges from $103,965 to $214,044 USD, and the position qualifies for equity eligibility. Relocation assistance is not offered for this opening.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a distinct portfolio of Shopping indexing and catalog programs independently while keeping engineering owners, timelines, and dependencies aligned.
  • Facilitate daily team rhythms including planning sessions, standups, documentation, and decision-tracking.
  • Develop and maintain reporting and dashboards to provide stakeholders visibility into progress, decisions, and risks.
  • Coordinate cross-team dependencies across serving, retrieval, indexing, catalog, and ads quality partners.
  • Apply generative AI as a default operating model for execution tasks such as drafting core artifacts, synthesizing status updates, triaging intake, and tracking risks.
  • Build prototypes using data analysis or AI coding assistants to streamline workflows and augment decision-making.
  • Adhere to AI safety-by-design governance rules by validating outputs, handling sensitive data correctly, and documenting assumptions.

Requirements

  • Possess two to four years of technical program management experience driving technical programs independently within data-adjacent, infrastructure, or platform settings.
  • Demonstrate a solid foundational grasp of distributed systems concepts such as batch versus real-time processing, streaming pipelines, and services.
  • Show strong execution and follow-through capabilities with a history of managing multiple concurrent workstreams successfully.
  • Display comfort handling data by building dashboards, tracking metrics, and converting progress into clear status reports.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills with experience handling stakeholder expectations and cross-team dependencies.

Qualifications

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or possess equivalent experience.
