The specialist leads medium-complexity sourcing projects and supplier negotiations, oversees complex capital contracts and escalations, and manages three direct reports. Work may extend to other procurement categories as organizational priorities change.
Responsibilities
- Run the contract management function, setting consistent standards and managing commercial risk
- Lead medium-complexity procurement from planning through to procure-to-pay completion
- Oversee capital and complex contract portfolios, including change controls, claims and performance security
- Manage three direct reports, set priorities, and handle performance reviews and recruitment
Requirements
- Deep grounding in contract law, commercial conditions and procurement governance
- Advanced negotiation, contract drafting and redlining, and contract portfolio risk analysis
- Strong executive communication, team leadership and skill managing stakeholders across departments
Qualifications
- Data analysis skills with tools such as Google Sheets or R
- Experience with project and contract management, including AI contract tools
