Tupande's crop sourcing team in Sagana, Kenya, needs a fixed-term specialist to coordinate day-to-day operations. The post keeps sourcing calendars and trackers current, monitors results against seasonal targets, and produces reports and dashboards for management and field crews. Responsibilities
- Update trackers and dashboards for sourcing on a daily and weekly basis, and flag bottlenecks against seasonal targets
- Support aggregation timelines, logistics coordination and the tools and forms that field teams use
- Create and test loyalty or incentive schemes, and recommend targeted support where farmer engagement lags
- Develop crop-neutral toolkits, briefing notes and quality procedures for agent teams
Requirements
- Strong numeric and analytical ability in gathering, analyzing and assessing performance data
- Experience in farm operations, market linkages or agribusiness serving smallholders
- Project management and stakeholder engagement skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of certification schemes such as FSSC 22000, Rainforest Alliance and GlobalGAP
- Working grasp of tree crop cultivation, plus awareness of rules that affect farmers and agribusiness
