This role centers on developing internal operational hubs, client portals, owner dashboards, and intake workflows to streamline project management and replace legacy spreadsheet processes. The engineer will initially collaborate with an external developer group managing company databases, with the eventual goal of taking complete ownership of the database systems. Responsibilities include building responsive web interfaces, designing desktop and mobile-friendly experiences for field personnel, and eventually working with React Native for native mobile applications. The selected candidate will help shape product roadmaps, make architectural decisions for scalability, and collaborate closely with leadership. Responsibilities
- Build an internal operational hub to manage client requests and oversee projects
- Develop a client portal providing visibility into project status, revision requests, and estimates
- Create an internal dashboard allowing owners to track team productivity and project standards
- Design and implement client intake forms and workflows to eliminate spreadsheet-based operations
- Develop responsive web interfaces optimized for desktop and mobile devices
- Own system architecture, scalability, and technical design decisions for internal platforms
- Collaborate with an external development group managing the database with the goal of taking full ownership
- Contribute to product roadmaps and assist leadership in prioritizing technical initiatives
- Partner directly with leadership to translate business objectives into functional technical solutions
Requirements
- Mid-to-senior level full-stack engineering background
- Demonstrated experience in system architecture, design, and scalability
- Strong product sense focused on clean and usable interfaces
- Ability to shape customer and user flows beyond basic implementation to spec
- Comfort working across both desktop and mobile environments
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort in ambiguous settings and minimal direction
- Ability to operate as a self-starter with long-term ownership of internal systems
- Location in Latin America with availability to work remotely

Qualifications
- Familiarity with Supabase for PostgreSQL and Node.js environments
- Frontend tooling experience with Next.js and Tailwind CSS
- Mobile development familiarity with React Native
- Experience working with GraphQL APIs
- Authentication and hosting experience using Supabase Auth, Auth0, Vercel, Netlify, Railway, or Render
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions
