In this role, the selected candidate will report directly to the Global Controller and handle essential accounts payable duties. Responsibilities include maintaining ledger accuracy, processing vendor invoices, preparing supplier payments, managing vendor data, and assisting with month-end closing procedures like bank reconciliations and accruals. Responsibilities
- Maintain the accuracy of accounts payable ledgers and perform account reconciliations
- Manage vendor data, validate new accounts, obtain approvals, and keep audit records
- Process supplier invoices accurately and promptly using accounting systems
- Prepare supplier payments following the payment schedule and present them clearly for approval
- Monitor withheld payments and release them upon receiving authorization
- Assist with month-end tasks including prepayments, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Resolve vendor questions and issues while escalating matters when necessary
- Ensure compliance with established procedures and recommend corrective actions
