Job Description
Nucleus Network is seeking an AI Automation & Operations Lead to help the company operate more intelligently, efficiently, and at scale through artificial intelligence and automation. The business operates across three main areas: Nucleus Advisory, a warm-introductions-as-a-service business; Nucleus Ventures, a venture capital firm that deployed over $54 million across 28 companies; and Nucleus Community, an events business hosting numerous experiences annually.
This is a hands-on operational role rather than a machine learning or research position. You will work closely with leadership to map existing workflows, identify manual or repetitive processes, and design practical AI-powered automations. An initial primary focus will be enhancing how relationship data is captured, organized, enriched, and utilized. Over time, the position will support operations across Advisory, Ventures, Community, and internal functions.
The ideal candidate is resourceful, technically fluent, business-minded, and comfortable turning ambiguous problems into functioning systems. You will connect various tools and platforms using APIs, webhooks, scripts, and no-code or low-code environments. Responsibilities also include building internal tools, improving CRM systems, ensuring system reliability, and training team members on new workflows. Working hours require overlap with United States time zones.
Responsibilities
- Map current workflows across business units to find repetitive, manual, or inefficient processes
- Design and implement end-to-end AI automations to extract, structure, classify, enrich, summarize, and route information
- Build lightweight internal tools, dashboards, interfaces, or applications using scripts, APIs, webhooks, and low-code or no-code platforms
- Improve internal CRM and relationship-tracking systems to streamline contact updates and data enrichment
- Develop lead-scoring workflows based on ideal customer profile fit and surface relevant relationship insights
- Test automations thoroughly, monitor ongoing performance, troubleshoot errors, and maintain systems as business needs evolve
- Train team members on new workflows and tools while creating straightforward operating documentation
- Establish practical standards for the secure and responsible use of AI across the organization
Requirements
- At least three years of relevant experience in automation, AI implementation, operations, product, business systems, software development, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to build working automations that solve actual business problems
- Strong practical understanding of generative AI and large language models used in everyday work
- Ability to connect applications via APIs, webhooks, native integrations, or automation platforms
- Familiarity with no-code and low-code platforms along with technical fluency for scripting or lightweight development when needed
- Strong process-mapping, problem-solving, and independent project management skills
Qualifications
- Experience building or managing CRM systems
- Background in relationship intelligence, lead enrichment, or recommendation systems
- Experience working in venture capital, professional services, events, communities, or relationship-driven businesses
- Experience building internal tools or lightweight web applications
- Familiarity with databases, structured data, and data-cleaning workflows
- Proficiency with JavaScript, Python, SQL, or similar technologies
- Experience handling data privacy, security, access controls, and responsible AI practices
