In this position, the professional will collaborate closely with the Product Lead to shape artificial intelligence functionalities, define product strategy, and guide features from the discovery phase through delivery and iteration. The ideal candidate possesses a strong enthusiasm for artificial intelligence, an ability to translate complex technologies into user-friendly experiences, and practical expertise in turning nascent capabilities into functional products.
Daily duties include transforming broad concepts into detailed requirements, researching user workflows, building prototypes, assessing technical constraints with engineers, and tracking ongoing developments in the artificial intelligence sector. Applicants must bring significant product management experience focused on software, along with a solid grasp of artificial intelligence constraints, inference, and local deployment models.
Responsibilities
- Translate the QV.AC vision into concrete use cases, feature proposals, and product requirements alongside the Product Lead
- Gather user feedback and research how individuals interact with artificial intelligence in everyday workflows
- Draft product briefs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and user flows
- Construct wireframes, mockups, and working prototypes to test concepts and evaluate product behavior
- Collaborate with engineering staff to analyze technical trade-offs regarding device constraints, latency, memory, battery, and privacy
- Help evaluate opportunities, manage scope, and maintain a prioritized backlog
- Guide assigned features through development cycles, address product questions, and coordinate release readiness
- Monitor emerging artificial intelligence models, tools, and interaction patterns to provide actionable recommendations
Requirements
- Minimum of seven years of product management experience, preferably with artificial intelligence software products and technical engineering teams
- Demonstrated history of building, shipping, or prototyping artificial intelligence powered features
- Working knowledge of artificial intelligence principles such as inference, harnesses, model limits, context, and evaluation
- Ability to convert ambiguous ideas into defined user problems, proposed solutions, and actionable requirements
- Demonstrated product judgment focused on usability, scope, and measurable user value
- Proficiency in building prototypes via design or coding utilities
- Clear verbal and written communication skills to discuss technical trade-offs with engineers
- Proactive and collaborative mindset with the ability to take ownership and incorporate feedback early
- Familiarity with product analytics, user research, and iterative software development practices
Qualifications
- Background in local artificial intelligence, on-device inference, or open-source models
- Experience developing artificial intelligence assistants, conversational interfaces, or multimodal features
- Familiarity with desktop or mobile application development
- Understanding of peer-to-peer technologies and decentralized applications
- Experience evaluating artificial intelligence output quality and designing for uncertainty and errors
- Previous experience working within distributed, remote teams
