This full-time, on-site role in Mumbai builds credit risk models for Experian's clients using bureau and alternate data. The consultant gives subject-matter expertise on acquisition and limit strategies, works with business and technical teams to agree solutions, and turns technical features into commercial benefits.
Responsibilities
- Build next-generation credit risk models for clients using bureau and alternate data.
- Provide subject-matter expertise on acquisition and credit limit assignment strategies.
- Engage business and technical consultants and delivery teams to agree on proposed solutions.
- Develop customer insights and value propositions, and deliver analytical services on schedule.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in credit risk modelling across the customer lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of machine learning techniques such as gradient boosting and KNN.
- Knowledge of modelling frameworks such as linear, logistic and decision tree models.
- Hands-on experience with Python and statistical tools such as SAS, with applied statistics skills.
Qualifications
- MSME lending domain expertise is preferred.
- Experience in a financial services environment or a bank's modelling department, and knowledge of credit bureaus, are added advantages.
