Job Description
This full-time, on-site leadership role in Hyderabad oversees Quality Engineering across several product portfolios at Experian. The QA Manager sets quality strategy and governance, coaches test leads and engineers, pushes automation and continuous testing, and works with engineering, product and operations to protect release confidence.
The position's line manager is the Head of Engineering, and the role blends people leadership, technical direction and delivery oversight in a setting that favors automation, Agile practice and DevSecOps.
Responsibilities
- Shape and carry out the quality engineering roadmap across product lines
- Coach and develop a team of test leads and engineers
- Set quality norms, release readiness checks and governance rules
- Plan QA headcount and budgets, and manage vendor relationships
Requirements
- Ten or more years in software testing or quality engineering, including leadership roles
- Track record leading quality strategy, governance and testing practice at scale
- Working knowledge of automated testing, pipelines, DevOps, cloud and Agile
- Hands-on familiarity with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Tosca, Postman and Cucumber
Qualifications
- Advanced test management certification from ISTQB or a comparable credential
- Experience across functional testing, plus integration, performance and security checks
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure setups
- Awareness of AI-assisted testing approaches
