Within the Data Science organization, the Analytics Engineering team seeks an Analytics Engineer to partner with Consumer, Ads, and Marketing groups. This position sits at the intersection of data science and data engineering, focusing on building scalable tools, data pipelines, and infrastructure to advance the platform.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to performance, reliability, automation, and data quality initiatives
- Oversee a portfolio of data products supplying trustworthy information
- Build and maintain data pipelines for transformation, ingestion, and processing
- Partner with engineering teams to guarantee pipeline reliability
- Execute quality checks, quality assurance, and monitoring routines
- Establish new data integrations across internal and external platforms
- Design internal tools and applications to facilitate reporting and analysis
- Promote widespread usage of internal data tools with a focus on automation and consistency
- Act as a thought partner for leadership and engineering managers regarding data foundations and strategy
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience building and maintaining large-scale ETL systems in production
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, Spark, or Scala
- Experience handling massive-scale structured and unstructured data
- Familiarity with data governance patterns, ELT, and data modeling concepts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or another quantitative discipline
- Background in data workflows like Airflow, database design, front-end, or back-end engineering
- Experience with dashboard design and data analysis
- Understanding of relational and massively parallel processing database design
- Experience with agentic AI-assisted development
