Lalamove is hiring an Application and IT Support Engineer based in New York. The role centers on application support and troubleshooting, with some Java development and SQL work, plus L1 and L2 support for employees, user access management and upkeep of IT documentation.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve application issues and coordinate escalations
• Contribute bug fixes and enhancements in Java
• Provide L1 and L2 support for laptops, printers and connectivity
• Manage user accounts, permissions and onboarding or offboarding access

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in application support, technical support or software development
• Working knowledge of Java or another object-oriented language, with basic to intermediate SQL
• Familiarity with Windows or macOS and TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPN concepts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Scripting with Python, PowerShell or Bash is a plus
• Experience with ticketing or monitoring tools is a plus
