This subcontractor role is for a certified social compliance auditor who holds CSCA certification from APSCA and works as lead or sole auditor on schemes such as SMETA 7, SIZA, BSCI, WRAP, SCAN and TFS. The auditor plans and delivers audits, prepares reports, meets turnaround times, mentors other auditors and supports local program implementation. The role is based in Johannesburg and requires local and international travel.
Responsibilities
- Plan, lead and deliver social compliance audits in line with scheme requirements
- Prepare audit reports and meet agreed turnaround times
- Mentor auditors and provide on-the-job training
- Support program implementation and technical review of other auditors' reports
Requirements
- Valid CSCA certification with APSCA membership in good standing
- At least two years of social compliance audit experience
- Advanced English and Afrikaans
- Extensive knowledge of labour laws, the ETI Base Code and occupational health and safety standards
Qualifications
- Evidence of social auditor training
- Experience managing or leading teams is desirable
