Grab is hiring an Assistant Manager for the 4W Mobility Core Business, Supply, in Manila on a full-time, on-site basis. The role balances supply and demand in the car transport marketplace, covering driver allocation, incentives and driver pool optimization, along with demand programs. It involves running supply and demand experiments, on-ground visits to drivers and passengers, and financial modeling, and working with product, driver operations and marketing teams to launch and localize features.
Responsibilities
- Run supply and demand experiments to balance the marketplace and influence customer behavior.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data and build financial models to test business initiatives.
- Lead multiple projects in growth areas, and communicate trade-offs across departments.
- Work with product teams to launch and localize new features, and visit the field to understand pain points.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, statistics, business management, industrial or management engineering, data science or a related field.
- At least 3 years in project management, data analytics, business strategy or operations.
- Business acumen, curiosity about data, and a strong sense of ownership.
- Ability to build business cases and models, including financial forecasting, budgeting and pricing simulations.
Qualifications
- Startup experience is a nice-to-have.
- Proficiency with analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python or R Studio.
- Willingness to take part in professional development to stay current.
