Associate Distinguished Engineer (Solution Architect - GenAI + RAG + Agentic AI, Cloud, data architecture, Integration Architecture)

It is recruiting an Associate Distinguished Engineer to lead technical AI solutioning, acting as a solution architect across generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic AI, cloud, data and integration design. The engineer serves as the technical anchor for deals, working with pre-sales colleagues, solution consultants and planners across the life cycle of an opportunity. Work includes drafting scalable AI, machine learning and GenAI architectures for bids, RFP responses, client questionnaires and tenders, converting business problems into technically sound and commercially reasonable answers, and running discovery workshops and walkthroughs. The engineer builds demos, prototypes and PoC builds, estimates effort and size, judges feasibility and risk, and serves as the go-to specialist on AI and data architecture.

Beyond bids, the role includes producing thought leadership such as whitepapers, articles and point-of-view papers, presenting at webinars and industry events, and turning emerging trends into advice for clients. The engineer mentors consultants on positioning and architecture, creates reusable accelerators, reference designs and demo assets, plans the roadmap for those assets, and works with the architecture group, design staff, engineers and business units to turn proven ideas into reusable, enterprise-grade solutions.

Applicants need at least eight years across solution design, technical consulting, pre-sales or technology leadership roles, with two or more years of hands-on delivery of AI, ML or GenAI work. Expertise in large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows and prompt design is required, along with experience designing enterprise AI, data, cloud and integration systems. Practical experience with leading cloud AI platforms such as Azure, AWS and GCP is expected. Public sector, education or non-profit experience, familiarity with Microsoft and ServiceNow ecosystems, and publications or speaking credits are advantages.
