GitLab is seeking an Associate Renewals Manager to join their team. GitLab operates an intelligent orchestration platform for DevSecOps, helping organizations accelerate digital transformation, enhance developer productivity, improve operational efficiency, and lower compliance and security risks. Millions of registered users and over half of Fortune 100 companies rely on the platform to ship secure software rapidly. This full-time position involves driving customer retention, minimizing customer churn, and maintaining annual recurring revenue through phone, video, and email communications. The person in this role will evaluate license usage, coordinate true-up requirements, build renewal quotes, and support account executives and renewals managers administratively. Candidates should be ready to collaborate closely with customer success and sales teams while ensuring orders and purchase orders are completed correctly for internal approval.

Responsibilities
- Retain or expand annual recurring revenue by executing the renewal process
- Drive retention and reduce customer contraction and churn via email, phone, and video channels
- Assess license usage and handle true-up needs
- Align customer business goals with renewal quotations
- Provide administrative renewals support to account executives and renewals managers
- Close renewals promptly
- Partner with sales and customer success teams on strategy using analytics
- Coordinate with customers to finalize purchase orders and order forms for internal approval
Requirements
- Background in sales or customer experience such as sales operations, BDR, SDR, customer service, CSM, or deal desk
- Demonstrated experience working with B2B software sales
- Familiarity with subscription go-to-market strategies for customer success and renewals
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
- Results-oriented and motivated mindset
- Ability to negotiate, present, and close effectively
- Willingness to work in accordance with company values
