Bosch is hiring a B2R Associate to work on-site in Bengaluru. This full-time role functions as a finance subject-matter expert possessing technical SAP proficiency, serving as a connector between Operations, FI-CO key users, and project teams to foster process excellence and manage key performance indicators. The position involves driving accounting standards, aiding S/4HANA migration, managing data cleansing, and overseeing general ledger accounting.
The B2R Associate will conduct monthly fiscal reviews, manage balance sheet governance, support quarterly statutory financials under IND AS, execute month-end closing tasks, and handle internal controls and audit point resolution. Candidates should bring an interest in finance process improvements and special project participation.
Responsibilities
- Advise operations on process excellence and steer accounting standards alongside team leads
- Establish, define, monitor, and drive central and local key performance indicators to boost efficiency
- Support S/4HANA migration by coordinating between operations, FI-CO key users, and project teams
- Keep the open points list updated and closed for major activities
- Take ownership of master data and open items data cleansing activities
- Maintain and control general ledger accounting and the chart of accounts
- Conduct monthly fiscal reviews alongside the Record to Report Head and Corporate Financial Controller
- Perform monthly balance sheet reviews and governance for general ledgers in the trial balance
- Support and review quarterly statutory financials in accordance with IND AS
- Execute month-end closing duties and review key controls
- Enforce fiscal governance, internal controls, process documentation, and internal audit point closures
- Engage in special projects focused on finance control and process enhancements
Requirements
- CA or CMA qualification with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience within a medium or large manufacturing sector
- Familiarity with the Companies Act 2013, Ind AS, IFRS, and SEBI regulations
- Prior hands-on participation in an annual audit conducted under IFRS or Ind AS standards
- Demonstrated proficiency in SAP FI systems
- Good communication skills and a positive, eager-to-learn attitude
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of emerging technologies such as RPA, blockchain, and PowerBI
- Prior background working in the manufacturing industry
